There are now a number of services that you can are able to access independently. These services used to only be accessible through a GP but you can now access them elsewhere without having to book an appointment. Below is all the information you need...

Just found out you're pregnant?As soon as you find out you're pregnant you can refer yourself directly for your maternity care. You do not need a GP appointment to do this you can fill out a self referral form online or call Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. Please see both the phone number and link below.

Minor Ailment - Local pharmacies are now able to treat minor ailments over the counter. Instead of booking a GP appointment, you can visit your local pharmacist who is able to provide you with medication if you needed. Visit our 'Minor Ailment Scheme' page for more information.

Mental Health - You can now self refer to Mindsmatter without having to see your GP first. You can visit the attached link for more information.
